Yap is a traditionally garbed state and has sustained a lot of changes of government, but still maintains it culture, and it has admitted the coexistence of tradition and western dwelling (). A dominant feature in Yap civilization is the caste system; this program divides the populace into nine sections, four being the lowest and five the highest.
