The coastal areas of North Carolina would be the most dynamic and active systems of all the organic systems in the state. In the coastal areas of the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and lithosphere all interact and interrelate to one person at a style of spectacle which gravitates individuals of all backgrounds to appreciate in the veggies it has to offer. This expanse of pure splendor though is confronting a troubling situation as sea levels continue to rise, temperature intensity accelerates at new heights, and other climate impacting factors set the coast at risk. Despite the signs that clearly supports these promises, local cultural and social elements such as property are affecting the capability of North Carolina to prepare for climate effects in coastal areas. North Carolina does not have quite prominent direct signs of climate change, however they are still present, especially in the coastal regions of the country, and are definitely the most dangerous because of their inconspicuous nature. The clearest sign of climate change along the coast of North Carolina is the ever present rising sea level. As sea levels rise, the concentration and level of coastal planning to prevent and prepare climate variables should grow also. Sadly, preparation cannot be really achieved as North Carolina faces many allies, from the form of its coastal dwelling and political opponents and other countries like South Carolina fall into precisely the same category.
