Politics are significant in civilization since humanity first existed almost 200,000 years ago. As we've evolved over the years, the rule of logic and law has become a predominant pillar of the civilization. More recently, our culture was changed and characterized through the advancements in communication, like the phone, newspaper, radio, television, and most recently, the web. Therefore, our modern political spectrum was affected greatly by these advancements. The newest frontier, the internet, has arguably motivated the maximum change in contemporary politics. The major problem with resources that relate the net and its impacts on politics is rather paradoxical: the couple resources that aren't outdated tend to approach the topic at a variety of different angles, and the ones that are obsolete contain a lot more detailed information. Of the two key problems, the majority of different strategies are most intriguing. Similar to TV has been to radio, the internet is challenging the way media works. Of the eight newspapers which will be reviewed here, the papers by de Waal and Sweetser would be the most common in this difference. Both of these concentrate on comparing new websites, the internet, to old media, which includes newspaper and television. The introduction of de Waal’s newspaper includes a brief discussion of why it's thought that newspapers are superior to all other types of media. In backdrop to the thesis, de Waal utilizes studies from 1983 and 1990 to illustrate the theory that this is mostly due to the amount of space available in newspapers compared to this narrow timeframe of evening newscasts.
