Same Kind of Different as Me: a Modern-Day Slave, an International Art Dealer, and the Unlikely Woman Who cried Them Together by Ron Hall and Denver Moore together with Lynn Vincent is truly a magnificent narrative about the crossing and shifting of two radically dissimilar Folks. The book has been written in the kind of two autobiographies that combine to one fantastic life story. The novel is based around the concept of empathy and what reaching out can do to a individual's life. Through the novel, the readers' eyes have been exposed to the cruelty of existence for several people in the south east and their eyes are also opened to the remarks and lifestyles of the homeless. Denver Moore grows up known as easygoing, innocent "Li'l Buddy," however he would become known as the meanest and most malicious man on the street. It is explained in the publication that Moore grew up in Louisiana in which "virtual captivity" occurred. His occupation of choosing cotton absorbs the vast majority of his youth as he's not paid decently. Moore is manipulated by "the Man," the plantation owner who knowingly takes advantage of this clueless adolescent. After growing tired of living restrictedly, Moore jumps to the train to Fort Worth, Texas. Moore says that he "did not consider it much, simply walked into the railroad tracks and waited patiently for the train to come a-rollin" (Hall, Moore, along with Vincent 64). In a tolerable situation with no family, no ensured meals, and no shelter, Moore becomes homeless. He quickly develops a distasteful reputation, one standing that would lead him to jail for ten decades. After viewing his allotted time, he also goes back to the roads where he starts moving to the Union Gospel Mission. This area directs him to fulfill two individuals that would alter his troubled lifestyle f.. .
