" Forever hot and still to be appreciated; Forever panting and eternally youthful" These words in the poem, Ode to a Grecian Urn had been written by John Keats, a British poet of the twentieth century. This sentence expresses the love and enjoy life that John Keats represented. Keats lived through the romantic period, that was a time that concentrated on the person, nature and emotions. Although Keats died very young, throughout his brief lifetime he wrote many poems, especially odes. An ode is a sort of poem which could be about an object; a person or whatever you feels extremely enthused about. In Ode to a Grecian Urn, Keats covers an inanimate thing, an urn that has no life, but talks about it using imagery of energy like "warm," "panting," and "young." In just one sentence he brings the urn to existence praising it as "forever young." Keats had a tough life full of much departure. Nevertheless he included both his own life experience and his romantic dreams in his job. John Keats was born October 31, 1795 and died on February 23, 1821 in age twenty-five. He had one sister and 3 brothers among who died as a baby. Six decades later, when John was fifteen years old, his mother died of tuberculosis. After the death of his parents John's grandmother hoped that he would enter the health profession to locate financial security. Keats became the apprentice at Guy's hospital in London.
