Gods and goddesses in mythology are found in allusions and described inside our daily lives often, but perform we understand them really? We might not understand how or why they look the real way they do, how they behave, what they can handle accomplishing, or how they interacted with humans. These super-beings of incredibly high status had been the soul and center of prayers and explanations of natural phenomena. An assortment was had by them of natures and were represented in many ways, by different religions. To start out, physical features and behaviours are necessary to the representations of gods and goddesses. When believers pray for material or emotional gain, they need to have something to pray to - a statue or item that may represent the god or goddess to whom they sent their prayers. Human beings made these statues, and provided the gods and goddesses that the statues represented individual physical and emotional features, in order to describe natural occurrences or disasters. For example, when the ocean was rough or whenever a ship sailed into jagged rocks, the sailors would pray to Poseidon (Greek), Neptune (Roman), or whoever was responsible for the ocean within their religion, and believe the god of the oceans was unsatisfied or displeased with something or someone, thus wreaking havoc on the planet earth. Divine beings conducted themselves in a royal fashion, them supposedly responsible for various necessities of life. They did because they wished, for these were immortal, the only restrictions being that they could be punished by the supreme god, which in Greek mythology, is Zeus.
