Umuofia is a village in Africa, and also the people there are generally united. However, when the Christians arrive and permeate the village, the clan changes but also falls apart. The novel where this story takes place is known as Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. The story is about a well-respected guy named Okonkwo that has three wives and lots of children, the earliest being Nwoye. Okonkwo is banished for seven decades from Umuofia, and through those seven decades, Umuofia is affected fundamentally from the Christian religion. Many people are converted, but the whole clan is in battle. This publication shows that Christianity destroys but also guides the Ibo culture in Umuofia. Initially, the Christians help direct the Ibo culture by giving some of the folks confidence to be prosperous, but, by doing this, break up family units. When Nwoye is first brought into the church, he's confused regarding the Trinity, as many people in Umuofia are. Nwoye is readily converted on account of the relationship with his dad.
