John Winthrop stated a very fierce and vibrant quotation at A Model of Christian Charity, "If Americans turn out in the Christian God this nation is going to be punished." I personally like this quote as my generation and the generations before me grew up stating "I pledge allegiant to the flag of the United States of American, And to the Republic for which it stands, 1 nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice to all." Regrettably, my son and his generation of children will grow up not reciting this before and during school hours on account of this phrases, "under god." Growing up as a kid can be challenging for many, especially as soon as you hit your young adult ages because of others creating opinions or believing in their faith and not taking the time to understand other people beliefs. My best friend during these years was a Menssianic Jew and these years were especially tough for her. The best way I could explain a Menssianic Jew in my voice is that it's mostly a Christian whom thinks in most Jewish Laws or habits. My buddy being a Menssianic Jew would need to explain to the school and peers on why she would not have the ability to take part in certain plays, programs and triggers through the holiday seasons. Unfortunately, in this small town college some college and most all peers looked down on her and treated differently as she did not match. My friend felt because she had been an Menssianic Jew she was being punished occasionally as some teachers wouldn't permit her to complete additional pressures to deteriorate for not being able to take part in the holiday plays, programs or activites. Some of our coworkers would likewise treat her like a person or make fun of her to be different. At times she was called cruel names, stared or whined about. .
