Throughout The Odyssey by Homer; both Odysseus and Telemachus are confronted with a comprehensive journey which leads them to profound improvement. At the beginning of the epicpoem, Telemachus is a young boy and doesn't understand how to guard his home from the suitors which are trying to pursue it. Odysseus has been gone for decades, and was not able to instruct his son how to be a leader or how to shield himself. Meanwhile, Odysseus has been on his trip home enduring all of the barriers of adventure, The Gods, along with hardship. They all grow and prosper through the poem; Odysseus finds the value of his existence in his family life and Ithaca. While Telemachus learns how to become a leader, mature as a guy and forgive his dad because of his lack. At the beginning of the story, Telemachus needs to manage the suitors that have assumed control within his residence and aspire to marry his mother only to get control over Ithaca he says, "For my mom, against her will, is beset by suitorshis very own sons to the men who are best hereabouts. These shrink by making the journey to the home of her dad Ikarios, so that he might take bride gifts for his daughter and bestow her on the one that he desired" The suitors are working to pursue his mother and take over his house, his life was at risk because heir to the crown. He's simply just at the method of the suitors wishing to steal the thrown. Telemachus should grow quickly and learn how to shield himself. Transitioning from boy to man he begins his journey with an innocent spirit and sets out to assist his mother. He faces several obstacles on the way, however, evolves as a man and warrior. Telemachus is decreasing faith in his father's return, "I should never have sorrowed so more than his dying if he'd gone down among his companions i.. .
