As Catholics, our principal goal in life is to locate ourselves and our God given talents,. We are to adopt them and make a difference in the world, to make as great an effect as we can in order to make use of a world that is in Gods likeness. We learned from a young age to honor the one and only Lord and honor our mother and father. We heard not to steal or commit adultery. As we grow old we understand the other commandments and eventually become able to comprehend the larger meaning of His concept of how to live. We identify our sins and also work to get rid of them and lots of the corrupt activities of our associations on our society. Though we could have flaws, we actively pursue a life of improving ourselves and being kind to others. Even if one follows the term of the Lord and tries to steward His message, then an individual may not obtain entrance to the Kingdom of paradise. Frequently what stands in our way is our personal worldly possessions. There's both a simple and complex justification to this conundrum. We lose sight of the vital things in life with the overabundance of riches and possessions. These worldly possessions stand in the way of one choosing to follow God. In today’s culture one is bombarded by messages of consumerism, encouraging the notion that things have a value beyond their cost, or that these items alone could deliver one’s pleasure. The complexity of this argument comes into play once you assess that being wealthy is sometimes sinful. It may prevent you from gaining eternal life. The problem is the faulty social associations. To be able to collect wealth one has to use these social institutions, which depends on the manipulation of the poor.
