Ghosts at the Rossborough Inn in the University of Maryland The University of Maryland includes a rich history dating back again to its founding in 1856 as the Maryland Agricultural University. Constructed between 1804 and 1812, The Rossborough Inn may be the oldest building on campus today (Ghost Tour, 2). Using its history, it is no real surprise that the Inn is a hotspot for ghost activity. Realizing that there were numerous reviews of ghosts at Rossborough, I visited the Inn to ask current workers at the Knight Middle for Specialized Journalism, positioned in Rossborough Inn, if indeed they themselves experienced experienced anything bizarre or if indeed they had known other people who had. I entered the tiny office where three ladies were speaking and with their authorization asked about their encounters with ghosts at Rossborough. Upon asking my query, all three smiled, although shaking their mind, they indicated that they had not. However, each of them had heard about the stories, and among the women replied and explained to consult with the University Archivist. I was told by her that she's spoken with the archivist, and upon learning the complete stories, she said that she “got freaked out and really wished to go home.” The very next day, The University was contacted by me Archivist by telephone to check out the happenings at the Rossborough Inn. She was happy consult with me, and indicated that the Rossborough Inn is a hotspot for legends of paranormal activity, having more “sightings” than most any other building on campus. Furthermore to posting with me one tale of the Inn, she also delivered me a script of a ghost tour that she's given on campus which includes additional reported happenings at the Inn along with the history of Rossborough. The complete story she distributed to me tells of a eating services.
