Attributes of a Successful Entrepreneur ABSTRACT First, there was a meeting with a successful entrepreneur. Secondly, there was a discussion on entrepreneurship by a guest speaker, Mr. Azmi Ahmad (the CEO of both Skali.com) and afterwards, an "elevator speech" by fellow students on several issues associated with entrepreneurship. This collective information along with some reading on entrepreneurship journals, books and articles have brought to the idea on writing this paper, towards certain standpoint, on successful entrepreneurial characteristics. This paper examines the myths associated with what it takes to be an entrepreneur, so the the common features among these successful entrepreneurs. INTRODUCTION The initial definition of entrepreneur was simply someone who devised something. Eventually , it turned into somebody who owned a business. However, the best definition, the one used most often today, is someone who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks for a business or enterprise. This shows that not only does someone "invent" something, but that they see the opportunity and build a business around it. An entrepreneur has a vision and assembles around this vision. Although no one has found the great entrepreneurial profile, there are lots of features that appear repeatedly. Good health was a characteristic mentioned the most because they're physically resilient. In great health, entrepreneurs function extended intervals.
