Sam Walton has been understood to be industrious, constantly attempting to get the absolute most out of money, and had a burning ambition to succeed. This was obvious from his publication Sam Walton, Made in America, My Story. He was a hard working person who helped his family through the depression, began his own company from almost nothing and changed the area of management for ever. Sam Walton was born in 1918 at Kingfisher, Oklahoma during the Great Depression. Sam obtained his work ethic from his father Thomas Gibson Walton who was a hard worker and had a myriad of jobs. He had been a banker, farmer, farm-loan appraiser and an agent for insurance and property. He put so long, was honest and was known for his ethics. Sam also found what a wonderful negotiator he had been. In addition, he learned about hard work out of his mom who had a milk enterprise. Sam experienced earning money in the early age of seven by selling magazine subscription. He began a newspaper route kept it up through school. Sam made Eagle Scout at age 13; at the moment, he was the youngest in the history of Missouri. Sam attended the University of Missouri, also received a B.S. diploma in business.
