Women in Television, and what could be said. Skinny, blond, ditzy, bothersome, un-educated, easy, and considered a normal women. If you're a girls and you hear those words, does this make you think about that you are, or even your mother or sisters? I think notbut I really do think about the folks I see on tv and in magazines or in movies. What I want to know is who is writing the scripts for a few of the tv shows that I watch. I would like to hope that it's not women placing these stereotypes on their fellow "sisters". Video is so different now in a lot of ways compared to what it was when it first started to blossom. "I love Lucy", what is that show about? A hard working husband and a "House" spouse that's frequently puzzled in situations and doesn't know how to resolve them. "Leave it to Beaver", "My Three Sons", and so onall these families with a father/husband who travels off to function as the spouse stays home to clean. Now true we don't have the girls staying home in displays nowadays, but we have non-realistic women in my personal opinion. Girls that are so skinny that if makes you feel as if there is something wrong with how that you look. Friends one of my personal favorite t.v. Shows I think reflects women in a manner that society typically views women now. Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) to me plays with the closest to function to what women are now.
