During the analysis of the students' writings, they makes mistakes in general rules and the sub rule in subject-verb contract. Moreover, upon looking of the students' problems, this research also includes the remedial activities that require to be contacted to the students to be able to increase the problems of the students in using the correct subject-verb arrangement in their writings.

1. 1 THE Framework OF THE STUDY

The review was conducted on Season 2 students in MARA College of Banting whom are taking International Baccalaureate Diploma programme for 2009 / 2011 batch time. But the students possessed achieved good results, namely in British 1119 in Malaysia Education Certificate which is recognized as Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), the students are still producing some grammatical errors in their essays.

Therefore, the study is carried out to study the situation of the students in their English essays and the most significant error they had produced. To be able to arrive to the conclusion of this analysis, error analysis is used as an indicator to enable the significant mistake to be diagnosed.

According to the mistake produced by the students, it can be stated that the students have significantly more propensity to make error in the common rules of the subject verb agreement. This may be due to avoiding themselves to utilize the sub-rule of the topic verb agreement. Based on the error produced by the students are chiefly completed under the overall rule of the subject verb arrangement.

Apart from that, it is due to interference of the Malay terminology that does not have any specific guideline in the usage of singular or plural form of subject matter verb contract. Besides, the students have a tendency to construct the word structures upon their Malay words experience that create faulty in their essays. Again, it is figured the mother tongue of the students, mainly Malay vocabulary inhibit the development of the English terminology of the students.

In addition to the discussion, these subject and verb are the two main mechanisms in producing accurate and complete sentence in English essays, so, as to this, the students have to be alert of the importance of the topic verb agreement use. Therefore, the students have to be recognizable with this platform of the study. The major reason the students were producing problem in subject-verb arrangement is because; they do not own an inmost understanding of this rules in grammar part. Most of the students were uncertain about the verb and the topic in writing their essays.

However, we can also state that, they are really learning English because it is one of the compulsory components that the students need to accomplish in the education system in Malaysia as ESL. In addition, almost all of the students here are using Malay terminology in daily dialogue. In fact, in Malay dialect, the dialect system does not have specific guidelines of the plural and singular as with English sentence structure, especially in context of subject-verb contract. When the students were asked, about the sort of language they are using as thinking to write an essay, the majority of the students apply Malay language and striving to convert their phrases in English. This could be one of why the errors in subject-verb contract among students are apparent and inhibit the sentence structure development among the students as the students count highly upon the Malay language.

Furthermore, based on the review from the questionnaires, the students are lack of practice on their writing skills because, they said, it needs time to focus on one essay. Eventually, the students are also, have lack on the general knowledge and surveys demonstrated that only 9 out of 49 students will spend their time reading non-academic literature. Big portions of 80 percent of the students do not practice the reading culture. This may lead to the incorrect building of good phrases and a proper flow of ideas in their article.

Their lack of knowledge on the machine of the vocabulary and unsatisfactory terminology that the students acquired reflected to a certain extent the comportment these were informed, the learners' methodology and their learning strategies in the whole learning development. To classify the targeted group of the analysis into "weak" and "good" students with their record family information.

To review and analyzed the coaching process and the techniques used by the lecturers or the professor to deal with the students in British language.

Giving more exercises to the students predicated on the conditions needed and record the marks to compare them.
