In Boss inside the Back Place, Scott highlights the pecking order in operation. The brokers own the food and do not care about the mechanics. They are just concerned about "the paper and pen" aspects of the organization. As proprietor, he is in control of the running of the food market. As the boss it is his job to know the customers' spending habits in order to turn a profit. He has control over the pay he gets by environment the price of the groceries and selling circumstances to people. He tells us just how he will "Keep the customers talking" so that "They don't know which way their cash went. He lets the "customers pay" because "They got their own racket somewheres. " This individual believes that "They consider you. You take them. inch When he functions the checkout on Saturdays, a high volume-shopping day, he uses different tricks just like weighing the produce and ringing the price high.
