The Jersey Shore is a reality TV show that has become one of the most popular shows in tv set today, and the suppliers are working on a season three. The show began in 2009 2009, and since has already established two seasons, that have been widely looked at by many people. Some question, "What is this show about, " and I reply that it's a show consisting of eight young people; Paul DelVicchio, Nicole Polizzi, Michael Sorrentino, Sammi Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz Magro, Jenni Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, and Angelina Pivarnick. All these people are young Italian individuals who come to a beach house, and simply have fun. Each of them party, go out to clubs, drink alcohol uncontrollably, have sexual intercourse, and just become the "stereotypical young person. "
Jersey Shore is not a survivor type fact show, or perhaps a dread factor type actuality show, but in my opinion, this can be a bunch of teenagers that react immature, do bad what to have fun, and just make fools out of themselves in front of the whole country. However, Shirt Shore attempts to make it seem to be like they are really good people because they work a few of the time on the show in least wage jobs, however the times that those displays are shown, the time structure is very nominal. Thus, this shows that the show is trying to show they are doing something effective, but again it shows the bad things more regularly because those are what are most interesting to society. So, the Jersey shoreline is a show that portrays teenagers to be the "stereotypical young person, " and in a sense persuades the folks of America that is how young people act. Additionally, the show portrays genders with techniques that appear to be stereotypical as well.
Females tend to be criticized by men that if indeed they don't appear to be a "real woman, " then they're not worth talking to. So this means, if indeed they do not wear cosmetic, dress up to show sex charm, wear high heels, do their mane, they are not worth enough time. However, this will not can be found in the Jersey Shoreline because that is precisely what all the women do on the show. For instance, before each goes to the golf club in fundamentally every episode you will see a picture being shown that shows them planning, and that includes the women putting on makeup, "sexually appealing clothes, " and doing their hair. For instance in Show 12, Season Two the thing is all the girls getting ready and Nicole "Snookie" Polizzi says "We surely got to get ready and make sure we look good before we go directly to the club, " (mtv. com) Thus, the show portrays the feminine as if they need to look good to go out, and wear nice clothes, and make sure their locks is performed, which in my own view, is absolutely not just how most women are.
Furthermore, when looking past that notion of just how women are "likely to look, " I discovered that the show also portrays women to be the sort that just want to have sex constantly and find beautiful males. For instance, in only about every occurrence the women are always discussing the places to visit see each one of these beautiful men, and exactly how they wish to have sex with them. Also, when each goes in the night clubs, they dance rather sexually and get very near to their male counterparts in the club. So, perhaps, the Jersey Shore is trying to send the message that if you are going to night clubs, you will meet women like this, and I realize that to be a very stereotypical bias because not absolutely all women go directly to the golf clubs to simply party dirty, and have gender. Hence, I believe that the Jersey Shore portrays women to be sex objects that love venturing out and revealing their body.
Male gender role in the show is portrayed in a different way from women, but it does have a similarity. Men on the show are been shown to be huge ripped folks that are extremely clean looking. That is where the similarity will come in between the men and female jobs because they both are being portrayed as what folks "want in an individual, " predicated on the media portrayal in this world. Also, the show stereotypes masculinity because Jersey Shore helps it be seem like you have to look this way to be masculine, this means having a six pack, or being ripped. Additionally, the show will not only show "male masculinity" to be always a role, but also shows male dominance to be always a major role. For example, in Season Two, Occurrence 11, Mike "THE PROBLEM" Sorrentino says to Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi when they are in the club that "I'm the man of the home, so when I say it is time to go, and then we go. I've always done this whenever we have gone away. I always rounded people up"(mtv. com), but words can only just express a lot, and that means you would actually have to view it before your very eyes to see how he believes he's dominant over Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.
In comparison, I think that the show also shows men in a feministic way. The reason I say that is because the men on the show tend to be doing things typical of a woman. For example, the guys will venture out and get a tan at a tanning salon, which is often seen being done by women. Furthermore, the people, like the ladies, spend a lot of time doing their locks, getting dressed, and basically they just spend their time on themselves. However, I believe this is done purposely showing they are clean, and that the male gender can too care about his body. Although they do that purposely, I believe visitors will still question how truly genuine is this "reality" show. So, gender roles in the show are portrayed in an way that intentionally try to attract viewers, but knowledgeable people will be able to tell these are not the way all men and women are.
Jersey Shoreline is a show that heavily stereotypes teenagers, but in my estimation, they don't consider the negative effects they can have on the younger crowd. Younger people in America are often brainwashed by the multimedia and believe anything that is being informed or broadcasted. Therefore, Jersey Shoreline is a excellent exemplory case of a show that can have these unwanted effects. The effects it might have differ between the genders, however when you look at the dilemna it is quite similar. It really is similar because most young people that are enjoying the show might now believe they should become these "stereotypical teenagers" are operating. However, they might not recognize that this is not a classic hundred percent accurate, and that this can possibly have a negative influence on the lives if they choose to act this way.
In my estimation, I believe what they do on the show will have a negative influence over a young person's life because they would now start enjoying more, clubbing more, making love more, which all could lead to negative outcomes. For example, drinking may lead to an alcohol problem, clubbing may lead to making love, which can in the end lead to a sexually transmitted disease that may be life intimidating. So, young people are possibly in danger when absorbing these incorrect ideas and activities being portrayed on the show, and this can result in a range of problems in society itself to increase because of one show. Alcohol craving can increase, volume of minors entering night clubs can increase, and the most destructive thing would be if sexually transmitted diseases increase, which already seem to be increasing.
So, I have said what the show can do to people, but this is principally considering individuals who already do these exact things. However, a larger problem could be the effects it is wearing individuals who do not do these negative things in their lives, and that is what might lead to a significant increase in those areas I mentioned above. Thus, I think that this will in simple fact affect the teenagers who do not already do these things, and that might be very harmful to society. It could be bad for society because when you look at the long term impact this can have it can seem to be quite terrifying. It could seem terrifying because imagine the death rate increase due to some of these issues, and that can cause mental problems, family problems, and also to think this could be the long term result all because of 1 show is merely unpleasant. Therefore, I believe the Jersey Shoreline reveals many stereotypes that can have very negative benefits on people's lives if they try to imitate these people.
Some might argue that this is all that is done on the show, however, many might disagree, but partying appears to happen often on Jersey Shoreline. In every show the staff gathers up at least once during the night and goes to the club and gatherings. However, it is done so often, it starts to appear unrealistic. It commences to appear unrealistic because it is portrayed as if "All teenagers have time and energy to do is venture out and party on a regular basis, " but that is unquestionably incorrect because people who are in school, or who are young parents, or working a complete time job will generally, not have the time to be partying like they certainly on the Jersey Shore. So, with that being said, I assume that if America thinks that this is how young people are in this country, i quickly have proven my point that the advertising brainwashes modern culture.
Furthermore, Jersey Shore portrays partying as "fun, " which shows they are generalizing the theory that partying and clubbing is fun. However, once again Jersey Shore is showing another way it attempts to bring in the visitors of America. Although they portray clubbing to be fun, but that does not mean everyone considers that it's fun. Sometimes, people say that "clubbing is made for young sole people just looking for somebody, " which I agree with. Also, this relates to the show stereotyping young people because they are let's assume that all young people like to go partying and clubbing, which is also incorrect, and I am a leading example of that because I do not like partying or clubbing, and I believe there are better alternatives to meet people or find somebody, such as participating an event of some kind. Therefore, I think that Jersey Shoreline intentionally attacks these stereotypes to attract a person in this modern culture who does not know much about multimedia, and believes anything that is portrayed by them. Therefore, many people that are such as this will watch the Jersey Shore, and do for days gone by two conditions.
Jersey Shore is a show that you should watch with a stereotyping at heart. That Stereotyping is utilized very much in the demonstrate might even neglect how many times it seems. So, when you are seeing this show, don't imagine everything that the thing is that, and make an effort to mock these folks. They are a bunch of folks who getting a high salary to do something like this because this is exactly what the producers believes America wants to see based on the medias portrayal of teenagers in today's culture, which you are able to argue holds true since it is the most watch show on MTV in years. However, I really do help you that if you commence to act like these people it can have very negative effects on your life.
For example, if you start drinking such as this, you could possibly become an alcoholic, which can lead to severe liver damage, family problems, and even a self habit problem that may be very difficult to overcome. On top of that, if you start having sex as much as these people do, you will eventually get a STD because these people are kissing, touching, and doing all those lustful things with many different people, and statistics show how easy it is in today's world to get an STD when you are with numerous companions. As a result, you might receive a life threatening STD, such as helps. All in all, the main advice I would offer you when observing the show is watch it as a show. So, watch it as a Television show rather than as a reality show because the items being provided in the show in my own opinion are just not real. So, watch this show for pleasure, but don't try to imitate these people because they would not have the ability to spend all that money on the hair, clothes, golf clubs, etc, if indeed they did not get paid by MTV. So, I understand most people won't pay attention to my advice, but in the end I think it requires to be said.
Jersey Shore's main point is to portray teenagers that are "beautiful, cool, and what people want predicated on stereotypes. " Shirt Shoreline was a show that helped bring MTV back again on its feet because MTV was a show that was exhibiting steady drop in its visitors for the past several years until the Jersey Shore aired. Thus, I believe the producers came up with a good idea that would draw viewers in watching this show. However, what they're doing cannot only have an impact on the young heads of America, but cause a rise in other problems such as liquor addiction, underage clubbing, and the majority of all sexually sent diseases. So, I believe that Jersey Shore has achieved its goal by stereotyping teenagers because many people in this country observed the show, but still do. To conclude, the effects this show can be negative, or could maintain positivity, but it is for you to decide to watch, so with that said, will you watch.
