An organisation's responsibility is the ethical behaviour of the organisation when executing or working its business. Organisation's responsibility can also be referred as corporate social responsibility, lasting responsible business, corporate and business social performance, commercial citizenship or dependable business.
So exactly why is it important to do something in an ethical manner? The solution is simple. In today's world, acting within an unethical manner is highly frowned upon by the society. People are more informed right now and are usually more aware. If an company will not comply in honest behaviour, they could not only lose customers nevertheless they might even not get employees who are willing to work with the company.

The key to be ethical is to be objective, not your own personal belief, religious beliefs or power. Those individuals who make decisions because of their own personal reasons such as wealth, vitality or reputation, totally miss the whole point to be ethical. Ethical behavior provides a groundwork for the present day organisation of the modern world. More folks are realising the value of social responsibility and moral behavior from an company. There are various benefits for an company if they operate their company in a dependable manner. They can be:
- Creating a competitive benefit since people nowadays are more eager to buy products from organisations that routines ethical behaviour
- Better chance of attracting and keeping employees because the people naturally prefer to work within an environment where it has a pleasant atmosphere and a good reputation

- Better reputation over time. It takes quite a while to build up a good image and reputation of an company but it takes merely one scandal to spoil everything. Organisations based on moral grounds are less inclined to go through scandals
- Being ethical is area of the law and rules. Sooner or later, this is a decision an organisation has to make so that it may as well put into action it before an company is forced involved with it or fined into it
Here are some tips an individual can consider before making any ethical decision

I am going to take the internationally successful company Draw & Spencer as an example in that they responded to today's world of working businesses in a socially accountable environment.
