Cultural backgrounds help shape up how people perform themselves in various situations. Ethnical backgrounds encompass physical, physical, interpersonal, and philosophical influences among others. A person interacts with these factors as he or she matures. They shape up what sort of person behaves in various situations and when in different surroundings that could or might not be intimidating to them. Cultural backgrounds also have an impact on how people connect with their friends and work mates. Different physical, ethnical, and societal exposures provide different backgrounds to different people.

This paper reveals a case study of two people from different social backgrounds. Specifically this paper looks at Peter who comes from an African ethnical backdrop and Vishram who has an Indian cultural background.

Discussion

Peter and Vishram grew up in Africa and India respectively. The two people was raised in several backgrounds that differ in terms of cultural procedures, geographical dispositions, and interpersonal connections. This shown Peter and Vishram with different ideologies and perspectives that they use, to check out life.

First, Peter was raised in a patriarchal world that put men higher and important than women. Men had a higher regard than women performed Peters contemporary society. Men handled every issue that required decision-making. Therefore, his background trained him that men should rule women. In fact, women in the society that Peter came from never visited school. Their duties involved caring for children and doing core domestic tasks, such as baking and cleaning. Therefore, this made Peter to believe that women should follow what he says. It has brought challenge, to Peter especially, because he lives in a modernized world, where women have attained the same functions as men and have the right to acquire education. At this moment with time, women no longer take domestic are their responsibility. They have got changed functions and obligations, because they're educated. Therefore, Peter acquired a great deal of difficulty modifying to the kind of environment, where he cooks and washes and attending to other domestic chores (Dark brown, 2000).

The kind of social background trained Peter the living of a Supreme Being. This Supreme Being created heaven and earth. The cultural track record offered him Christianity as a religious beliefs. People worship the originator, God, through that religion. Peter learnt that God has power that other entity. Peter grew up a spiritual person. He says spiritual impact from his cultural record has made him a whole person.

Peter experienced, while young, some aspects of initiation rites. In his culture, circumcision is a prerequisite to be an adult. It does not matter whether one is a boy or a girl. This initiation happens when one grows to time of thirteen or fourteen. It really is a rite of passing directly into maturity. This time around is a substantial time for the average person in question as well as the modern culture. This happens for boys and girls to know their tasks as active people of the modern culture. Kids know their rights to their family members and, to the society. Women learn the same. The elder men, in the world take responsibility of educating guys, while elder women instruct women (Hallen, 2009).

During his initiation Peter, learnt about the secrets of his tribe, the process that he'd engage in, getting a wife and enter in to marriage. Peter then experienced adulthood. He learnt not to tightly affiliate with women. He further learnt how to connect his tribulations, and issues to his years mates or tribal elders.

The cultural history that Peter grew in, educated him that older people take care of the kids. That is a rule even if a child and a grown-up are unrelated. Men required the duty of taking care of the whole community, with women going to the farms to till and plant.

This taught Peter a noteworthy lesson. His cultural backdrop promoted a communal life, where people resided as you family. When someone came across a problem, the entire community would come to save and provide the assistance a person needed. People got good care of their specific, relations, neighbours, and good friend properties.

Therefore, Peter possessed a strong impact from his ethnic background. Unlike the present day way of life, where people value level of privacy and personality, Peter was raised, in a background that advertised communalism. He was raised with the knowledge of respecting other folks and their house. As yet, Peter believes that individualism does not function as the right value worthy of practicing. To Peter, people live together and learn how to talk about, what they have; however little it is (Russell and Designers, 2001).

As a kid, Peter learns to respect adults irrespective of how old they are. Peter learnt that anybody, who has the same years as his parents qualify, to be his parents. Therefore, get older formed a substantial aspect, to Peter that influences the partnership he has with elders. Through this, Peter learnt the impotence of admiration. The cultural qualifications that Peter grew in, created him to aesthetics. His culture employed song and party as kinds of entertainment, passing of culture and praise among a great many other many functions. They sang these music, in different occasions, for example, during initiation situations. They sang melodies of praise. The songs exceeded the culture of the modern culture to years. The cultural melodies helped transfer the prices of the contemporary society to the initiates, who got entered another stage of life, in the population. The praise tracks meant to congratulate them for moving in to another stage of life effectively. It inspired and revealed them the importance of the stage. Dance came along with the sounds. When the contemporary society had good harvests from a bountiful season, the city would organize parties to assemble, sing, and party. Dance was a way of celebrating any success.

It seems funny to get Peter performing when he succeeds. He combines performing and dancing, to express his happiness. Actually, he says that whenever he transferred a certain skills test, when in high school, he sang and danced until other people who didn't know the reason joined up with him. Therefore, from his cultural experience, Peter learnt about the value of song and dance.

The influences that Peter has got from his ethnical background have had an enormous effect on him, as a person. Peter respects people, even those youthful than him because this hails from an art that he learnt from his ethnical backdrop (Bhatnagar, 2000).

To night out, Peter lives a communal life. He will not understand how people can live with individuality as a value that matter. He thinks that man must help his fellow man even when the resources prove little. Peter says that his cultural background has offered him one of the better types of education that he'll never find, in a school environment. He says that without his social backdrop, he could become a clear individual who is aware of nothing at all about his background and the ideals of life.

Vishram originates from India. He grew up in India, and went to his formative schooling years in there. Later on, he migrated to USA for advanced schooling, and he got employment and now lives there. Indian culture has a mixture of civilizations, rites, ideas, and notions that harmonizes a central primary of self-entity. They have deep richness in religious beliefs and languages characterized by considerable number of alien groupings. India combines civilizations from Persia and Turkey. It features of a number of religions which range from Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. Its preaching floor spreads significant mantras that entail universal tolerance and spiritual consciousness.

Vishram grew up in a ethnical background that offered him wealthy and diverse techniques advocating humanity. In particular, the cultural history that Vishram grew trained him how to affiliate well with people (Datta, 2000).

Indian culture treats guests as gods, acts, and manages them in a particular way. Guests are valuable family. Visitors are programs of blessing and good luck. Vishram learn the value of visitors, when he was raised in India. He found how his parents and friends and neighbors welcomed and treated strangers. Out of this, he learned that guests have a significant importance to the lives of individuals. The Indian culture educates that, if one desires good treatment from the individuals he or she visits, they need to value their own visitors (Fixico, 2003).

Indian culture teaches that esteem for elders and their ideologies on significant issues matter a whole lot. Because elders have experience in life, they offer valuable advice to teenagers and children. This calls for their reverence. The culture identifies elders as generating forces in most families. Therefore, the admiration, to elders should come in a natural way from the young. The culture asserts that elders offer blessings to the people and must be accorded respect. The Indian culture goes by from one generation to the other (Prakash, 2005).

Vishram was raised in knowing that respect for mankind as a guiding rule in lives of its people. The Indian culture needs all people as well. Therefore, respecting people is a work. For instance, the culture needs a boss to truly have a homely relationship, along with his workers, as opposed to a get better at to slave romantic relationship.

Right from, years as a child, people acquire the virtue of supporting each other, especially in times of intricacies and stress. This is not about financial assistance only. The culture induces people, offer help other people, through comfort, advice and different ways that prove highly relevant to the situation accessible. People should disperse joy and enjoyment, as well as talk about stress, pain and sadness. Vishram exceeded through each one of these until his adulthood.

The Indian culture has a code of dressing that ensures that individuals dress, in a good way. It shows people, to value others and themselves by gaining clothes that screen respect. Indians put on muslin and cotton clothes, in response to climatic changes. This educated Vishram how to dress, particularly when attending different situations (Prakash, 2005).

The culture that Vishram was raised in, stressed the value of family life. This means that it encourages people to live mutually, in tranquility and serenity. Family culture revolves around love, perseverance, and understanding (Goldenberg and Goldenberg, 2007).

This principles and ways of living have influenced Vishram as a person. Vishram holds a respect as his most coveted value. He says that without esteem humanity cannot exist. Vishram believes that respect coupled by love harmony and spiritual teachings contribute to his development as a person.

The beliefs that Vishram learnt in his cultural history have helped, to influence how he relates with other people. Vishram has an easy time associating with people because of the virtue of love, esteem, and patience. They may have helped him tolerate different types of people. In addition, his cultural background taught him the value of folks living mutually. Therefore, he lives with people as friends. When people come across problems, Vishram offers his help unconditionally. This has made people admire Vishram (Huffman and Huffman, 2008).

Peter and Vishram have similarities, in the way they behave. In fact, one may feel that they was raised in the same ethnical track record. However, the similarities they show stems from the similarities in their ethnic record. African and Indian cultures screen several similarities. Both of these teach about the importance of living jointly. The two cultural backgrounds show that they value a communal kind of relationship. In addition, respect operates as a substantial virtue in these social backgrounds. People learn the value of respect using their company childhood just like Peter and Vishram have.

Elders become the backbone of the society in both ethnic backgrounds. Elders offer information to teenagers, predicated on their activities about life. In addition they function as agencies for transmitting of the worth and norms of the population, from one technology to the other (Bhatnagar, 2000).

The two civilizations significantly limit women, to a certain degree. This happens specifically, with just how women dress and exactly how they associate and interact with men and their feminine counterparts. The similarities in both of these cultural backgrounds affect how Peter and Vishram engage in interactions outside their ethnic worlds. Both of the two social backgrounds practice track and boogie. However, the styles they apply to their songs and boogie do not happen, in the same manner.

However, both social backgrounds have dissimilarities. The African ethnic record offers Christianity, as the faith that its people should use to worship. On the other hand, the Indian culture that Vishram originates from, emphasize on Buddhism as its faith. Both of them believe in one God, but the ways and practice of worship differ. Buddhists worship, in the temple, while Christians worship in the cathedral (Hawley, 2008).

The clothing people put on in these two cultural backgrounds vary. Their outfits vary relatively. This is applicable especially, to women. Women in the African culture dress on relatively brief dresses and skirts. Alternatively, Indian women placed on long dresses, and vessels, sometimes covering their heads.

Despite the fact that both cultural backgrounds screen similarities and variances, their influences on personal action have a paramount impact. Their backgrounds identified how Peter and Vishram take a look at and judge the planet.

Conclusion

Peter and Vishram was raised, in different places, with different ethnical and environmental conditions. However, their similarity has similar affects on the two. This implies that social backgrounds offer valuable influence, in the lives of people. Peter and Vishram can connect with their friends without the difficulty. The ethnic backgrounds that they result from taught them the value of respect, persistence, and love when associating with other people on the globe. It then stands clear that when cultural backgrounds instruct people and impart them with principles that they need to, people become what the society needs them to be. An affect of ethnic backgrounds on the lives of folks requires attention. This should happen as ethnical backgrounds either build or ruin people with the characteristics that they impart in it.
