The people asked Jesus to provide them this breads always, they didn't understand what it was they were requesting. They did not know the spiritual significance of the meals given nor that Jesus Himself is the fact food, but assumed that Jesus was speaking of some kind of supernatural food that would be available whenever they felt eager. This then prompts Jesus to finally say, 'I am the bread of life, who ever before comes to me won't go eager and he who is convinced in me will never be thirsty. '

John state governments that they were focussing on the surprise without recognising the giver, and noticed Him as a wonder staff member. Jesus is the imperishable food, He is the foundation of life imparts life to humans, also to obtain this life you need to come to Him in faith not by works. Jesus' concern is to confront them with their errors and point them to the real way to find life from God, they only need to believe and rely on Him and on Him by themselves as the main one the daddy has directed as a sacrifice for the sin of the world.

The Light of the World

This passage includes two metaphorically I AM sayings whereby Jesus declares himself to be the Good Shepherd and the entranceway. Here he assures protection and a means of salvation for his supporters. Firstly by firmly taking on the role of Shepherd Jesus unveils himself as the Christ and Shepherd Ruler, who leads his people with compassion, guarding and looking after them while providing a feeling of belonging to himself and God. As the shepherd goes prior to the sheep they subsequently humbly follow Him, trusting and obeying His words rather than the words of those who oppose Him.

Secondly Jesus points out that there is only one door in to the sheepfold, implies that He is the one door to Salvation. By proclaiming that He's the 'door' for the sheep, Jesus says that He is the only path by which one can experience God and His love; the only person through whom heavenly secrets and divine life are imparted to people who follow Him, He is their protector and the means where they obtain religious nourishment, He's the only way of communication between heaven and earth. In addition to this Jesus cases that thieves and robbers who came before Him can never go into the sheepfold to mislead the sheep (people). Here Jesus is discussing the Pharisees, the Jewish leaders, who exercise power over the folks of Israel by misinterpreting the Law to


their own advantage; and the leaders who strive, to succeed the devotion of folks before Christ arrived in the flesh. He says, "Like thieves, they plan was key and crafty, and like robbers these were engaged in assault and devastation" (Ezek 34:1). Jesus claims that the sheep shall no longer follow or listen to the voice of these false leaders, because they now know and notice the tone of the real shepherd.

The Resurrection and Life

In chapter eleven Jesus affirms He's the resurrection and life, and John quotations that nurturing Lazarus from the useless at Bethany is a prelude to Jesus own fatality and resurrection. The Way, the reality, and the Life

Both nouns 'real truth' and 'life, ' reveal that Jesus is the real and living way to God, because He is the reality of God and the life of God. Here John's emphasis is on the person Jesus who's the best way to the existence of God there one will experience eternal pleasure. Parallel to verse 6 is Psalm 16:11 which speak of those who follow the path of life will experience pleasure fully in the existence of God.

Jesus is the term incarnate and shows to His disciples that He's the true and life-giving way to the occurrence of God in peace and success; Isaiah (30:23-26), also speaks of this prosperity to the people who follow the word. As just how, Jesus gives us usage of the Father; He will also include with Himself those who rely upon Him when He results to His Father. As the truth, Jesus discloses God as the Truth to the entire world in His love, mercy and deliverance. As the life, Jesus offers life and peacefulness to all those who have confidence in Him. Since Jesus is the embodiment of divine real truth and life, the only path to enter into the heavenly world is through Him.

The Vine

In the ultimate I AM sayings Jesus uses the metaphor of the vine and the branches. He uncovers Himself as the real vine, and compares Himself with the people of Israel who he metaphorically referred to as branches who got failed to endure fruit, therefore failing to glorify God. Clearly what is seen here's that God is the one who controls the whole procedure for fruit-bearing.


He purifies the vine to safeguard the fruit-bearing branches by detatching branches that not bear super fruit meaning supporters of Christ who becomes unfaithful.

He requires them from His people and consigning these to eternal consequence. God also purifies the fruitful branches by pruning them so that they will keep more fruits. God's pruning of believers takes place through the conserving objective of Christ words and deeds.

Jesus tells His disciples they are already clean by the word He has spoken, which is the Father's word.
