A very historical event in U. S background occurred on December 16, 1773 it would be known gets the Boston Tea Party. Some American patriots dressed as Mohawk Indians boarded ships in the Boston Harbor owned by the British East India Company and threw 342 chest of tea in to the water. Their known reasons for doing so were because these were protesting the taxes on tea (Taxation without representation). This would also unite the colonist in the colonies more than ever before.
It all started with the Townshend Works that were approved by parliament in 1767 which were made up of four serves that was quite simply an attempt to say its historical right to the colonies through stringent collection procedures of revenue duties. In 1773 Parliament passed the Tea Take action that was to financially help the East India Company. The Tea Take action that Britain had exceeded added a monopoly on the tea that they were shipping and delivery to the colonies. The tea that Britain was mailing over to the colonist was only to be carries by the company known as the East India Company. The business could then sell the tea in the colonies at a significantly less than typical price that then led to colonial merchants to form an alliance with the radicals that were being led by Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty.
In a few metropolitan areas in the colonies like New York some tea realtors even resigned or perhaps smooth out canceled their orders of tea. All the serves expect the Tea Function were repelled following the colonist resisted them with verbal agitation, physical violence and serves of assault towards English enforcement providers. The royal governor who was simply Thomas Hutcherson established to maintain the law and that the three ships that might be arriving to the Boston Harbor the Beaver, Eleanor and Dartmouth should then have the to deposit their crates of tea. Then on December 16, 1773, several around 60 men (The Sons of Liberty) boarded the ships putting on their Indian disguises and dumped all 362 chest of tea in to the waters of the Boston harbor. The tea they dumped was valued at around $1 million.
The Boston Tea Get together Played a significant role in U. S. Record because of the fact that it was one of the first major incidents that led to the trend, since this was the very first time the colonist started out fighting back. Following the Boston tea party, the colonist started to become more indie and self-confident that they could have the desired effect being segregated from Britain. Which in turn all of this events of course led to the Revolutionary Conflict then to the signing of the most crucial document in United States history. Even though the Boston Tea Get together didn't really instantaneous results, but it lit a hearth in the colonist hearts to provide them the courage that they had a need to standup to the big old bully Great Britain and fight because of their right to have self-reliance and liberty. Without this ever before happening who is aware maybe the colonist never could have had the courage to standup for their rights?
One thing I found while researching and found it quite interesting that no one ended up dying during all this cause myself I just it funny how there was one person that got hurt and they thought that he was deceased so they hid him under a pile of lumber in a close by shop but turns out he wasn't inactive. He regained consciousness a couple of hours after and was the only person reported to be injured during the Boston Tea Party. I also seen where there is only one person who acquired punished because of the fact that someone offered an anonymous idea and the person was then stripped, tarred and feathered. In the end that happened no one ever came ahead with any information. I just was always under the speculation that no-one ever before actually would get trapped due to the fact they couldn't actually identify them with all the current native North american disguises on but I assume I was wrong.
The Boston Harbor was also shut down for a couple weeks after all the tea was dumped into the harbor it then induced the harbor to smell. The harbor was then turn off until all 340 upper body of tea was paid that was dumped during the Boston Tea Get together. Another Boston Tea Party happened 90 days later on March 1774, 60 men disguised themselves and bored a shipped named the Bundle of money the slung 30 torso of tea overboard but since it was such an inferior protest, but credited to it being truly a smaller protest it didn't end up getting all the attention since it was a much smaller protest unlike the Boston tea party that took place a couple of months earlier. Though it was named the Uk East India Company the tea didn't actually result from India works out that the tea they dumped originated from China. The tea that was damaged in the Boston tea get together was described as "Bohea". Inside the 18th century dark tea was known as Bohea, it was a variety of black tea that originated from the Wuyi Mountains in the Chinese province of Fujian.
A popular notion was that the boats that brought the tea to were Uk made ships but works out the ships were built by Us citizens and managed by them but the tea they were hold from London and Boston was held by the Uk East India Company. Researching for this newspaper I found lots of things I never even realized about the Boston Tea Party it was pretty cool to discover there is actually another Boston Tea Get together and the tea didn't actually result from India but instead it originated from china.
The Boston Tea Party was a significant event in North american History. It played out a significant role in Groundbreaking conflict as it helped the colonist gain the courage that they had a need to help them first started to stand up to the evil bullies over in Britain that thought that they could just control individuals over in the colonies like the owned them. Without out it occurring who knows maybe the colonist never would have had the courage to stand up to them? I loved finding out all the neat things that we never understood and I am glad I chosen the Boston Tea get together.
