The city, Harlem, the source of expectation and a beck of light for the dark community through the 1920's and 30's, dished up as a fountain of enthusiasm as the creative talent and aspirations flowed from the streets of the neighborhoods. The Great Migration drew thousands of African People in the usa to the city. The Harlem Renaissance developed out of the transformations that acquired occurred in the DARK-COLORED society ever since the abolition of slavery.
