Jonathan Swift was born on The fall of 30, 1667 in Ireland to English parents, Jonathan and Abigail. His dad, Jonathan, died shortly after his birth, going out of his mom to raise him and his sister alone. In Ireland, Fast was dependent upon a nanny for three years because his mother relocated to England. The young man was educated due to patronage of his Uncle, Godwin Speedy. Godwin delivered him to Kilkenny Grammar School at age half a dozen, which was one of the best primary educational institutions in Ireland in europe at the time. Even though the transition from extreme poverty to a exclusive school education was hard, he made that easier simply by becoming close friends with Bill Congreve; another poet. At age fourteen Godwin put him through Trinity College by Dublin in which he completed his Bachelors Degree. Swift later on completed his M. A. at Oxford in 1692. Swifts mom wanted him to be successful so , she delivered him to travel work as a secretary underneath Sir Bill Temple, an existing essayist and graduate from Cambridge.
