Lucid dreams, or out of body encounters, are stated to be actual by a lot of, even though researchers and doctors say that they are really not actual. Susan Blackmore explains in "Lucid Thinking: Awake in the Sleep? " that lucid dreams are thought different than typical dreams. Blackmore also procedes say that a lucid dream requires focus when somebody falls asleep. In some instances people declare that they are able to control their dreams, or leave their physique whole they dream. In Julio Cortazer's story, "The Night Confront Up, " the main persona can perhaps be thought to have an away of human body experience beginning after he can involved in a terrible motorcycle incident. He dreams of traveling back to the past to a time where Aztecs are attacking the Moteca group. There are two different scenarios when it comes to selecting what true to life is for the man. Scenario one can be argued that the key character is living in contemporary, and longing to behold the past. Situation two consists of the main character is surviving in the past, and dreaming of modern day life. In using Blackmore's article to describe the story, it makes the many sense when the main figure is surviving in modern day, and dreaming of yesteryear.
A great out of body encounter is the most feasible explanation to why the primary character had a random dream about being hunted down by the Aztecs. An out of human body experience, or a lucid fantasy, is exactly where someone leaves' their body during the desire and is capable of controlling what they do inside the dream.
