Test the influence of microwave normal water and boiled normal water on plants. No major difference of the plant life expansion between boiled and microwave drinking water, shown in the results.
The following test was conducted over a period of 5 weeks evaluation 2 different seed kinds on the affects of microwave normal water, behind the idea of microwave radiation altering the chemical structure of water. Centered after this theory the plant life were experimented to see if microwave radiation alters the framework of DNA affecting the expansion of vegetation. [Research Centre, 2006]
Two hydrogen atoms and one air atom is the simple atomic structure of water. Causing it to get unique electrochemical properties. Petunia is scientifically known as; Petunia x hybrida. Microwave radiation normal water will influence the plants growth. Boiled drinking water will have nominal effect on the plants expansion.
To investigate the result of microwave and boiled drinking water on plants.
Potting Plant life:
Group labels and flower type test were labelled on the pot.
Pot was half filled up with potting merged.
Plant was removed from seedling holder.
Root's of the flower were disseminate.
Plant was positioned into the pot.
Pot was then filled up with soil bordering the place and compacted.
Steps 1 to 7 were repeated for each plant.
Plant level was assessed from the base to the highest point and recorded.
Number of flowers and buds on the plant were counted and documented.
Stems of the plant were counted and documented.
Measuring jugs were labelled, boiling water and microwave normal water.
Kettle was filled up with plain tap water and boiled.
Glass evidence jug was filled up with plain tap water.
Jug was positioned in microwave for about 2 to five minutes on high.
Water was kept to cool.
500ml of both boiled and microwave drinking water were measured away.
1 of both the boiled and microwave experiment plant life was watered.
Steps 6 and 7 were repeated for the remaining 2 plants.
Each week the method of heating the measuring were completed recording the crops development and expansion.
The results of the experiment showed the aim's results. Two vegetation Calendula officinalis and petunia x hybrid were examined for the influence that boiling normal water or microwaving it got up it. The stimulus was that microwaving normal water modified the DNA influencing plants. This inflatable water travel in the travel system of the plant life, known as the xylem such as a circulatory system. This is one way this inflatable water and the dissolved nutrients throughout it is dispersed throughout the seed. If microwaving normal water alters it's DNA and influences the nutrients which dissolve itself from the soil, the reason why it affects the complete plant is because of its transport system. The crops weren't affected much by the two different waters, however the microwave marigold wilted and passed on. However there must not be much difference between your boiled and microwave normal water.
The hypothesis was established after the stimulus of the experiment stating, 'microwave radiation water will have an effect on the plants growth. Boiled drinking water will have minimal impact on the plants expansion. ' Although results didn't support the hypothesis, as there wasn't any major difference between the boiled and microwave petunias and marigolds. But the microwave marigold welted inside our experiment other groupings may have had boiled crops that welted. The parameters could have been the reason why as to why we received the results we performed. As there is no fertiliser added to the plants and some of them confirmed the characteristics of missing nutrition, as fertiliser can assist in this and supply the vegetable with the nutrition to help it's deterioration the plant's weren't helped. The dying seed could've have been easily averted if a substitute nutrient like fertiliser was presented with to it.
Many mistakes throughout the test can be upgraded. When potting the plants the soil could have been compacted way more there were no air pockets and the soaked in more. It also would've prevented the crops to die. Calculating the data, might have been more accurate by having more than 3 standard measurements, things including the plants width could have been measured and the plants weight. The standard error amounts which mean how every group managed their place was different and play a significant affect to them. Such as accidently pouring the incorrect water in to the incorrect plant would have affected the results even though there shouldn't be much of a difference between microwave and boiled water. The environment in which the plant life were in also afflicted them as these were open and exposed to rainwater and bad weathers. Many things of the experiment might have been improved to obtain a more accurate consequence.
The hypothesis wasn't recognized nor was it wrong as there wasn't a massive difference between your microwave water and boiled normal water results, it appears that the microwave drinking water vegetation were growing much better than the boiled vegetation, although only by a minimal amount. The results can result in further experimentation after humans and wether microwaving makes us vunerable to cancers and unsafe diseases. Checks on animals of course, if over a period of time that microwave radiation make a difference you and deteriorate the body. Does indeed microwave radiation alter foods DNA preventing our anatomies from registering it. The test has solved the hypothesis and reached the aim, it has also still left many further possible investigations about microwave radiation and it's affects.
