Descartes and Aristotle Essay

People live life one day for time while using same guidance from their ancestors and forefathers, and they often question all their existence in the universe trying to understand the globe around them. Folks regularly query their lifestyle in the universe. Philosophers try to answer questions that a majority of people will not think of in their daily lives. Most philosophers try to get for the truth of logical concerns through epistemology. Epistemology is actually a "branch of philosophy that studies the type and possibility of knowledge" (Soccio). Through rationalism, philosophers work with reason for making conclusions with the world's living. There are two methods of rationalism: a priori and a posteriori. Dialectic is expertise deriving by reason (and prior to experience) to find the fact. While, posteriormente is understanding deriving from the senses to find the ultimate truth. Philosophers have different points to way an scientific question for the understanding of the universe. Nearing epistemological questions through a priori to find conviction wins over using a posteriori. To argue for this, I will discuss Descartes's and Aristotle's epistemological approaches to being aware of God. Elevating objections against Aristotle's method in nearing how points exist. Knowledge using the senses, which are illusions of the mind is second-rate to understanding from explanation, that uses simple basics to arrive towards the ultimate truth.

Most philosophers tried to show God's living through a posteriori. The thinker Aristotle tried to prove God's existence although four causes, but failed because it seemed to deny The lord's existence and it would not provide enough evidence of the soul's growing old. He discussed why things existed throughout the four causes: material cause,...

... body. The body gets old and breaks down as it lives in time and space. When the body wears off the mind lives on. Aristotle thought that the brain died while using body. The mind could affiliate with the spirit because the head is the fact of the soul. The mind can be immortal as it does not can be found in time and space. Aristotle did not believe in the soul being underworld because he thought characteristics with the senses make-up an individual yet once wears off with the human body. Humans have the ability to control all their thought but not their body. Descartes thought that the mind had stength because it got the ability to control own thoughts.
