Appeared such as a monster for the very first time in 1999 and threatened all Egyptians, it was huge, dangerous and cruel. So the Egyptian government announced the warfare against it, and started to take serious actions. Now its 2009 but no change, it's still there darkening the skies of Cairo from Oct to December leading to a whole lot of environmental and health casualties. Apart from the grey looking skies and awful smell dispersing in locations, the Monster causes Respiratory problems. Mahmoud Abdel Majeed, head of Abbasiya Torso Diseases Hospital, said, " People suffer from breathing difficulties, hacking and coughing and sometimes respiratory system inability which requires artificial respiration. " Adding that children and the elderly were the most in danger. The majority of you now know who the monster is, it is the Dark CLOUD. Funny enough that it is not really a natural sensation but it is mainly induced by us!! Matching to some reports it's said that 40% of the air pollution is from the using up of grain straws, another 23% from vehicle fumes - as Cairo now has about 4. 3 million vehicles in its roadways. Stock emissions also cause 23% and 6 % from getting rid of of wastes. We need solutions!
One of the solutions is to use Compressed GAS (CNG) as a gasoline for vehicles instead gasoline. Natural gas cars are not different from gasoline fuelled autos except that the gas automobiles are fuelled by CNG not gasoline. And its device is so simple; when u start your engine motor, the CNG enters a regulator that reduces the pressure before joining the fuel-injection system. The gas is then blended with air and injected into the cylinders of the engine motor where it's ignited by the spark plug leading to an explosion which can be used to drive the piston. CNG isn't only good for the environment but also for individuals there are other benefits. Using CNG is a fresh revolution which includes cost-effective, environmental and complex pros, yet not absolutely all people use CNG as a gas for their vehicles for different reasons.
CNG is quite cost-effective; it's about third of the price tag on regular gas, very good news for the reduced paid and taxi cab motorists. Also people who own an all natural gas car will involve some tax incentives; the federal government makes them pay fewer fees as an incentive for adding in protecting the environment from pollution. Further more, the price of maintenance of gas cars is very low in long term in comparison to that of gas cars. From all sides, CNG is quite more economical than gas.
The main good thing about using CNG as a petrol is basically because it's green. Because it is the cleanest burning up fossil gas, as methane burns up cleaner than petroleum fuels.
According to a report by the Air Pollution Research Team at the Country wide Research Middle in Cairo, it was found that, "in comparison to petrol, CNG has a vital potential to lessen carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide concentrations in exhaust released from electric fuel-injection and well-carbureted motors by an average of 73 percent and 66 percent, 39 percent and 31 percent and 21 percent and 19 percent, respectively. " With these figures, CNG became a friend to the environment and folks as well, since it triggers no or less negative health results than the petroleum or gasoline.
Using CNG also offers some complex advantages. CNG provides high compression percentage, meaning the majority of the petrol is burnt. The good thing about high compression proportion is that it offers the engine a higher horsepower ratio producing a high performance engine.
One of the greatest things about CNG is the fact that u can convert your vehicle to be natural gas fuelled. The transformation process is a simple process; it is merely fitting storage area tanks in the trunk of the vehicle and installing shot nozzles in the engine unit. After this u will have a bi-fuel vehicle!
Bi-fuel vehicles have the capability to switch between using fuel and other gasoline like CNG manually or automatically to run the automobile, what do we need more!!
But why is many people refuse or worried to convert their automobiles to gas cars?
Well, like everything on earth, CNG has some down sides too. First, the conversion process can be costly as he/she will have to buy the transformation kit and purchase the mechanic who'll convert it. Yes CNG is cheaper in cost, but this is when you refill your car but when it involves conversion, it could be costly. Another downside is. . .
