Hunter x Hunter Review
Name:Hunter x Hunter (2011)
GenreAction: Experience, Fantasy
Critic's Description Togashi Yoshihiro is a well known mangaka responsible for Yu Yu Hakusho, among the finest anime of the middle 90-s often in comparison to Dragon Ball Z. While I was young I nearly liked that series. Around 2013 I heard about a series known as "Hunter x Hunter" which I had been intentionally staying away from until I learned that it was written by Togashi Toshihiro. So I paused every anime I kept on my 'to-watch-list' to look out of this series longing for the best. And in around weekly I completed enjoying every event proceeded to read the manga immediately. Can't say I got disappointed. It had been amazing. In my judgment Togashi Yoshihiro certainly exceeded my targets with this. Something about any of it provided me a nostalgic sense. So I finished up deciding to write a review on it to share the knowledge a little and recommend it to some extra people. Cause this anime is certainly worth a try! Story
Fearsome monsters. . . incredible animals Vast riches. . . Hidden Treasures Evil enclaves. . . unexplored lands The planet 'unknown' holds special And some amazing people ar attracted to that magic They can be known as. . Hunters
-Intro of Hunter x Hunter
12 years prior to the story, one of the biggest Hunters on earth, Ging Freecss, left his infant child, Gon Freecss, to the good care of his little sister, Mito. Mito, brought up Gon as her own but her hatred for her brother brought on her to tell Gon that his parents passed on. Gon lived in Whale Island an island filled up with forests and mountains so he was raised around nature and often explored in to the forest. One Day, Gon found that his father was alive. So he made a decision to turn into a hunter and discover his dad. But being a Hunter wouldn't be easy. To be a Hunter one must participate in the Hunter exam, an extremely difficult exam that can only be handed down by the elites of humanity. With the exam Gon makes new friends and foes as he persists his journey to find his daddy and become the 'Best Hunter on the planet!' My undertake the story The main plot, which targets Gon's seek out his dad, isn't very original. Along with this the first few episodes weren't everything that interesting as well. It has a gradual build up. But that's all the imperfections I can explain. Nothing more. The storyplot of every arc current have been absolutely amazing. Some better than others. The most recent arc of the Anime easily dropped into one of my favorite arcs in every of anime and trust me I have viewed a lot. So its safe to state that the storyline is very good.
The animation is very excellent and colorful which makes it seam cheery at times but it generally does not neglect to get dark when the time calls for it. The personas were done well and the special effects were done. But it doesn't really stand out of the typical animation design so there is not much that can be said about it. But I could easily say that its not so bad somewhat its pretty good. Well I for just one liked it. That's for sure. It isn't the sort of animation that can change people down therefore the animation isn't worth much to be concerned about. Its on the better part of average that's for certain.
I really like orchestral sound paths and undoubtedly HxH delivers. The adventure-ish audio track fits properly into the series. Each character has different topics to go with their persona, and the music doesn't do any less then fit the situation correctly. The intro "Departure" can leave a very nostalgic feel to anybody who observed old animes like Dragon Ball. Another thing it can is get you pumped, The OST, "boys, be courageous" is a perfect example. Also there is certainly "Legend on the Martial Artist" that produces the feel of an awesome event coming up. And my personal favorite is "Riot". The timing of this track on the Phantom troupe arc was beyond excellent. The hopeless, fearsome and yet the reason behind the tune was kind of unhappy and the quotation said along it managed to get a really memorable scene. "Reason" is a stand alone piece based on the friendship of Gon and Killua which was absolutely wonderful. These help this anime truly become an amazing experience.
Hunter x Hunter mainly focuses on four main character types. Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio. Each identity has their own purpose and goal. A connection between you and the characters can grow rather quickly and you may feel their sorrow. So this is a listing of the four main characters and there respected theme tunes and backgrounds. Gon Freecss Gon Freecss is a 12-13 12 months old boy decided to find his father. His daddy was among the best Hunters in existence. Gon wants to know why his daddy chose his job as a Hunter rather then nurturing him. So he departs his peaceful island to become pro hunter and discover his dad. Gon is simple-minded, tenacious, innocent and kind. He isn't very good with math though and isn't very glowing. His theme is "The world of Adventurers". It helps to keep his personality down as a determined yet childish. He could be the normal Shonen main persona but something about this guy really pulls me out. His happy go blessed identity, his innocent viewpoint and even his type of childish manner. A lot of things about this person that can connect you with this guy even to the idea on sharing his expectations and dreams. Leorio Paladiknight Leorio comes of as a selfish guy who is convinced anything can be done through money. Therefore to earn vast riches he decided to become a hunter. Though Leorio seeks to use the advantages of becoming a Hunter to follow his true fantasy beyond earning simply money. He is a hardy identity who does nothing like to be disrespected and doesn't like it when people don't take him really. His theme is cheeky and stylish and jazzy which suits his persona. Leorio is a good person, although he's my least favorite of the four He's quite competent in his field but lacks an overall appearance compared to the other characters in my opinion. Though this fellas jazzy theme has a nice ring to it that's for sure. Kurapika Kurata Kurapika is the previous decedent of the Kurata clan. He was the sole survivor when his clan was killed by the Phantom Troupe, a robust band of bandits. He looks for to crumble the Troupe and retrieve the scarlet eyes of the Kurata clan and regain their honor. Kurapikka is peaceful and diligent. He dislikes to place others in danger and always feels things through. His theme suits his will to redeem his clan and also his strategic thinking. I really like this identity. His goal to get vengeance might be cliche, but unlike many people he goes out and does wha ever he can as early as he is able to to do whatever he is able to to seek vengeance. May be cliched yes but I love him. Killua Zoldyk Killua is an assassin from the Zoldyk family. Tired of killing he decided to run away from home (stabbing his mom happening) and be a hunter. He's skilled and powerful as everyone in the family are delivered to be the perfect assassins. cool, quiet and collected Killua was created to destroy as his name implies. He often places survival above anything else and is aware of when to run away. His theme music draw out his sadistic and scary side. This child is not to be messed with! Killua is my favorite character of the series for his friendship with Gon and exactly how their relationship and trust increases together. He wants to protect his friends to the point of forgetting what he trained from his birth Aside from that I like his identity design too. He is a real cool figure. Overall Overall I really like this anime. Being a remake of any 90-s anime it still feels like a vintage anime with one sturdy opening and multiple changing endings. The series is wonderful but its not necessarily meant for action oriented anime audiences as it sets stratagy before anything else. Since I'm not that type I fairly enjoyed this series. Overall this anime had a huge effect on me, and also provided of a lot of nostalgia. My overall score might be biased cause I was a huge fan of animes which shares similar elements. But that's simply just my estimation. But I hope that by reading this review you have decided to at least check it out yourself. Thanks a lot for reading.
I provided this 9. 1/10
