I am a biochemistry graduate, with more than three years of experience in medical research, tutoring and freelance writing. As a medical researcher, I have had an opportunity to work on different projects infectious diseases, parasitic diseases and biotechnology and non-communicable diseases. As a tutor, I have offered tutoring services to internship student and trained them in order to gain work experience required to fulfill their qualifications as graduates. In addition, I have spread my skills in different sectors such as encouraging personal development of my students through tutorials; help students discover their creativity, assessing and checking student’s work, developed and implemented new methods of tutoring to help slow learner students, set and mark trial exams and prepare, design and develop tutoring materials for my students. I have also been in freelance writing for two years, and during this period I have helped high school, college, undergraduate, and post graduate students with writing their essays, research papers, research proposals and course work that seem challenging to them. I have also helped them in proofreading their work and preparing notes to help them in revising for their exams. From handling these subjects, I have been able to expand my portfolio of expertise and currently I can handle numerous subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, History, Literature, Education, Nursing, Business, Management, Health, Environmental Science and English Language. However, I am still learning because I believe learning stimulates creativity and as a writer I will need to expand my knowledge in order to gain new skills on different subjects and grow my portfolio. In my work, I value honesty, integrity, commitment and employing good communication skills with clients. I also observe time because I consider myself a leader to my students and that means I should live as an example that they can emulate. Therefore, displaying high level of professionalism in my work is my priority. Away from work during my free time, I love swimming, cycling, reading books, newspapers and magazines. Reading is my favorite type of hobby because it helps me broaden my knowledge on different subjects, feel inspired and provides me with new ideas on different matters.
